This will backfire on the Demonrats.
And maybe, if this is the way the Demonrats want to play, the next time the Republicans hold the house &/or the senate they should go after Pedo Joe, Crazy Nancy, Crooked Hillary etc etc. The gloves need to come off.
Nothing illegal, but pursue the illegalities, of which there are plenty. I expect nothing less.

The big issue with Trump is he didn't drain the swamp as he said he would when he had the opportunity. I agree with his border and trade policies and many other things but he failed. Instead of playing golf and rallies and screwing around I wish he would have diligently worked to dismantle this alphabet agency apparatuses that are now bringing him down. And they will find or fabricate something to indict him on. The short of it is he kinda screwed around IMO when much needed to be done. Hope it works out for him.

They WILL "find" something that they can then use to charge him with sedition/insurrection/whatever, and they will almost certainly also convict him of it, so that he cannot run for president again.
The fact that there was no "insurrection" is irrelevant to them. If they do not find anything they will just plant it and say they found the evidence.

By then, the economy will be better and the Dems will select Mike Obama to run.
