I find it odd that you look down on a company with a reticle to help find the dot and add, get training to correct your presentation.

Yet if a company uses spotty electronics and a huge fragile window it’s okay because it helps you find the dot and they are an American company.

I actually did buy the Holosun 507C’s because they are higher quality than the DPP, more robust than the SRO and easier to use (with just the dot) than an RMR that sports a weird tint and slight magnification in a smaller window.

I saw that one. Looks pretty sweet to me.

I have a 510 on one. Window is clear and the dot crisp. I have no idea how it will stand up in harsh conditions/use.

Actually, that’s exactly why I bought the one I have. My astigmatism shows that reticle crisp and clear, where Eotech, Sig and AP dots look like a starburst to me.

I have a the 510C on an AR and I’d like to know which optic on the market today is comparable.

The mount on the Horosun is janky and if you’re gonna use it I highly recommend you remove it first and loctite that bitch to the optic otherwise it will shoot loose in short order.

I think the auto brightness feature on it is a joke unless it’s relegated to outdoor, daytime, use only. But this doesn’t much concern me because my MRO and Micro have to be left on all the time and set to an “all hours” setting as well, and none have ever given me any issues.

But I also can’t say I wouldn’t get the same results with an RMR/Trijicon mount, and ultimately have a much tougher, albeit smaller optic.

Pre-2020 I would have really hated giving support to Chinamen, but after seeing their Corona prank expose how many fugking morons and cowards truly are walking among us, and saying they would send a missile up Nancy Pelosi’s ass, I kinda like the little guys.

My 510 sits on a USC/UMP conversion range toy. Suits it well.

I'm not saying that at all.

I'd gleefully (a word you and kingston can understand) fight with a 510C.

But I'd do so understanding its limitations.

What's a "USC/UMP" conversion?
