She had a great voice. She is what I think of when I remember the cool 60s chicks I had crushes on when I was a kid. My sister had a few friends that looked similar to her, in her early videos.
Losing so many talented actors/actresses, singers, and other entertainers the last few years really underscores the general mediocrity of most of today's entertainment industry.

I almost posted that one...It is a shame how fast her health waned.
This certainly was a radio hit way back in the day.
I remember distinctly riding with my mom in her 64 (?) Nova listening to that come over the radio. I would have been 6 or 7 years old. She passed a few months ago.
Told people at the time that her death would hit me out of the blue, like in the pickle isle in the grocery store.
This is my pickle isle. Glad only the dog is here to see this.
