For sale is my Ithaca Model 100 manufactured in Japan by SKB. It is a 12 gauge with 26" barrels and 2-3/4” chambers with solid rib choked M and IC. It has a single selective trigger. Apparently, there are no serial number records on these guns that would allow dating. The best info I can find says they were imported into the US between the mid-60's to 1978. Overall, this gun is in very nice condition. The barrels are in very good condition inside and out and are equipped with extractors. The bores are bright and shiny. The action shows a little discoloration on the bottom, but overall looks great. The wood is overall very good. There are ticks and scratches from handling, but only one scratch through the finish located on the right side of the buttstock. The rib has a bead at the mid-point and a red fiber elongated bead at the muzzle. It shoots great and carries nicely. Weight is 6lbs, 14 oz. empty.
As for characteristics that detract from the gun, there are two. First, the previous owner had the stock shortened to 13-1/4" LOP to accommodate someone of smaller stature. Personally, I like the shorter stock for hunting with a heavy jacket. I purchased a slip-on recoil pad that brings the LOP up to 14" and works great for warm weather. Not only does it bring the length back, but also cushions the recoil on this lighter gun. The shortening was obviously done by someone who knows how to do it -- nicely done. The recoil pad is a Weatherby. Second, the safety button (slide) has been grooved deeper, probably with a file. The grooving is not a "bubba job" and is actually not very noticeable as evidenced by the fact I did not notice it for about a year after I bought the gun. I assume it was done to increase purchase by the thumb on the button. I experience that problem sometimes with my Beretta O/U when trying to take the safety off when a pheasant flushes close by. Both of these issues certainly detract from any collector value of the gun, but in some ways improve its function and versatility.
It's a nice gun. I have tried to love side by sides for decades and have owned a dozen or so. For some reason, I just cannot develop that love affair many shooters have. That said, it's time for this gun to find someone to love it.
I am posting only a couple of photos here but have 30+ on my computer that I can email to anyone interested. Just PM me your email address.

Nice gun. I’ve owned several and wish I had them all back. One observation - in my experience, it would be unusual for this to have a vent rib. Not saying yours doesn’t but I wasn’t aware they made them that way. Glwys
You are absolutely correct! I was looking at a couple of pump guns earlier in the day checking the ribs for dents -- must have had vent-rib-on-my-mind syndrome. This gun has a solid rib. Original post corrected. Thank you.
If I remember correctly, these had chrome lined barrels and selective extractors. Great Guns. I have been shooting a Ithaca Model 100 20 gauge for about 50 years and love it.
