Logan he has his own reasons. I have had a couple. It is a post war commercial variation of the old P38. Mine were made by Manuhirin. It has a steel slide and an aluminum alloy frame. Steady shooting will batter the frame and plus P loadings will be awfully quick about it. It is ok for a gun that is hauled a lot and shot a little. If you are happy with a first generation da auto its ok. The wwII P38 all steel is better if you get one that was made before everything went to hell in Germany.
