Well, here I am trying to make sense of what my 99 is telling me about its date of manufacture. The serial number is 908xxx -- which, if I understand it, puts its date of manufacture in 1956. However, the under-lever "boss code" looks to be "16 H" or "16 I" -- which puts the date of manufacture in either 1957 or 1958. As my inquiry title put it -- I'm just curious -- but confused. Help!
