I grew up in a family full of home builders, so I'm a bit embarrassed to ask this. See this picture. This is an example of a type of home that was very popular from the mid-60s until the mid-80s. I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. Any ideas?

With masonite siding.

I thought a raised ranch didn't have the distinctive front porch.

Ah! Two-story ranch as a search on Google comes up with a similar photo to the original. I'll go with that. Dang. You'd think after 50-some years, I'd remember something like that. All my friends grew up in one of them. I had the odd luck of being in the only Georgian Colonial in the neighborhood.

I'd call that a ranch, story and a half.
What do I know though.

No just remodel. It's the most practical design ever conceived. A roof line with 20 different pitches And Angles is ridiculous, they'll be laughing at that schit 20 years from now.
