It looks like Carl Bernosky has done it again. Bernosky has set a new record for the 80 shot Regional Match Course (20 shots Standing at 200 yards, 20 shots Sitting Rapid Fire at 200 yards, 20 shots Prone Rapid fire at 300 yards and 20 shots Prone Slow fire at 600 yards).)
His record performance of 800 points with 41 tie breaking X's eclipses the former record of 800-38X. Information is still coming in but it appears that he was shooting his White Oak built AR15 in either 6mm WOA or 6mm HAGAR.

Humbling is right, I still recall being happy I didn't miss the paper more than 3 times my first go round in 90... And since then I"m still happy to keep most of the rounds offhand into a 6-8 inch group at 200...
It will teach lots of things that can help shooters/hunters. Even if not everything it teaches helps.

I remember high fiving my buddy the first time I fired a shot at the 600M target and it went down meaining I hit something  Tha AMU boys looked at me like I was crazy....They were right! Mike

I shot 20 round offhand at 50 on Saturday and was Damn well pleased that I kept all of them in an 8" circle. (I am shooting a Browning BLR in 208 with a scout scope and Milsurp ammo). The ammo is good for 2 inches at 50 yards. It took about 400 rounds of practice to consistently do that. I will be moving out to 100 next time. BMT

Its actually pretty easy to shoot perfect after you are off your feet. Its on your feet thats tough, and in REALITY, a practiced shooter, off hand is not hard, its just extremely mental. You can hold good enough, and shoot good enough, its learning when NOT to shoot and start over again thats tough.
