After several years of playing the frustration game with a Sig 1911 of ‘plink three rounds, then a FTF, plink a few more rounds, then another FTF. The Glock 22LR was a wet dream! You can prevent this with a manual safety that locks the slide. Have you noticed this problem with the G44? I polished the feed ramp and doing so I found that there was a high spot between the ramp and the chamber. I took just a small amount of that high spot down. The gun is eating everything now. I just put 150 rounds through the gun without any malfunctions. It is still 8 inches high at 25 yards so I now need to get a higher front sight. The gun is no longer for sale..LOL it is fun for sure
