Can the republicans regain control of the senate......YES. YET ole' Mitch does not want a red wave in the senate, he would rather ne the senate minority leader than majority leader. Winning more republican senate seats increases Mitch chances of not being elected to lead the senate.
This ole crow needs to be put out to pasture at Churchill Downs.

Right on, Newt, but I'm old enough to recall most of that stuff mentioned, including how Ronald Reagan wasn't doing so well with the voters. Then he proceeded to win by a landslide. That was when I began to give up on believing the MSM. Now I worry about vote counting methods because sometimes it's not so much who you vote for, but who counts the votes.

Good article. I’m glad that Mr Newt is staying relevant and writing. I wasn’t always a fan but have become one. I view the man as being more accurate in his guessing than about any poll.
Cocaine Mitchie needs to go. A year and a half ago, because I was finally fed up with his BS, a changes my registration from Republican. I called and spoke to the KY GOP to let them have my perspective. Probably didn’t make a hill of beans difference.
I did inform the guy that I spoke with that if Mitchie Mc C ran again I’d not be voting for him. I explained that I WOULD be voting and that my vote would not be third party but rather for his democrat opponent. My reasoning to him was that there is little difference in outcome since Mitch, as the primary voice and power of the party, has no Vision.
I’ll probably get flamed but these guys have to go one way or the other. Luke warm is no longer an option for the politicians that I vote for.

Most people either vote emotionally or are manipulated by the media.
I look at voting the same as if I was hiring that person as my employee - with my own money. A guess 50 years on this planet has allowed me to easily identify the “doers” vs the “talkers”. But keeping in mind 99% of politicians are worse than used car salesmen.
Perfect example.
Would you rather hire:
A.) A guy who’s been living with his parents most of his adult life, has been chronically overweight, and due to a recent stroke is now unable to function > 50%
B.) A successful doctor
Their pay is the same.
