Up for sale is my Winchester Model 70 Featherweight X.T.R. rifle in 7mm Mauser. The rifle is a push feed action and was made in 1982. It is in factory original configuration and is in excellent condition. I purchased this rifle used so round count is unknown but it appears to have been fired very little (I put about 50 rounds through it). The bluing is bright with a slight amount of purple developing on the receiver. There are some slight swirls/marks in the bluing on the the top of the barrel. Unfortunately, the bluing is so shiny that I cant get good pics there marks but they are very minor. The action and barrel have no issues and the stock finish is excellent. The only other flaws I can see are a couple of nicks in the stock and some sort of groves in the recoil pad (please see pics). The rifle also includes a set of Talley 30mm rings/bases. I am asking $1050 shipped (in hard case) & insured FFL to FFL. No trades please, USPS MO/ZELLE/VENMO/PAYPAL F&F accepted. Thanks for looking, Tom Esswein Add- I am adding a reloading package deal for the buyer of this rifle. $100 gets you 150 Pri Partizan 7mm Mauser cases (still in bags), 100 Hornady 154 grain SP bullets, and two sets of Lee dies- the standard Lee 4 die set (used) and the 2 die Collet set (new).

I think those are some of the best-looking factory center fire bolt actions.
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

VERY Nice!!! I have the same rifle with the Factory Open Sights. Mine is very accurate with 140 gr Partitions and Ballistic Tips too. I wouldn’t part with mine for twice what he’s asking.

Sweet rifle. Considered a "transition" rifle because it was made during USRAC after 1981, but uses a WRA butt pad from pre USRAC take over. Very cool rifles and I agree, some of the nicer factory made rifles out there. Cool chambering in a trim well balanced rifle. These XTR FWT's are becoming more and more iconic and collectable. GLWS..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Add- I have decided to add a "reloading package" deal for $100 to whom ever buys my Winchester 7 mm Mauser. I will include 150 Pri Partizan 7mm Mauser cases (still in bags), 100 Hornady 154 grain SP bullets, and two sets of Lee dies- the standard Lee 4 die set (used) and the 2 die Collet set (new). I need to sell this rifle by Monday because I am going back to work/elk hunting and won't be home for a month.
