This is no "throw in the back of the truck rifle". The only reasons I am selling the rifle are that I just turned 80, I hunt alone, and my balance isn't as good as it once was. The description of the rifle is: BLR Light Weight 81, Blued, Walnut Stock, Blued Talley Base and Rings, 2 Magazine, Zeiss 3-9x40 MC Conquest scope, Butler Creek Flip-Open Scope Covers, and Zeiss scope caps (Zeiss bra). Black Lockable Plano Aggressor Rifle Case (gray egg-crate foam, two storage compartments, brass latches), and 4 boxes 140 gr.Winchester Silver Ballistic Tip ammo. The rifle has been fired 57 times. The rifle shoots 1.5 in on center groups at 100 yds. Price $1,250.00, includes shipping and insurance from my FFL to your FFL If you are interested let's talk some. The pictures of the BLR Blued 7-08 on request. Bob Mikeal at "rlmikeal gmail.com

There is one at Gold-n-guns in Gonzales, Louisiana. A little rough around the edges, not nearly as nice a scope, but it's at $1025 and I am sure that is negotiable. These guys are the FFL I use when buying on GB.
Married a girl from Pryor so I thought I would share some info.......LOL

Received this gun yesterday and it is great. The only flaw is a mark in the stock where the FFL packed a loose sling in with the rifle and the swivel attachment marred the wood on the stock - totally avoidable.
Looking forward to getting it out to the range for my wife to try. Need to track down some cheap ammo to play with.

Looking forward to getting it out to the range for my wife to try. Need to track down some cheap ammo to play with. Strosfan, I try to avoid shipping through FFL's solely because they rarely package well. I received a Rem 700 rifle about a year ago, shipped in a large box with one piece of packaging paper in the box. It arrived at my dealer with the barrel protruding out of the end of the box. I was astounded someone at the dealer could be that careless and stupid. When I'm forced to ship through an FFL, I clearly specify the packaging. After all, I'm paying for it. On a couple of occasions I've also done the packaging myself and left the box open so they could insert the paperwork. Sorry to hear about the stock damage. We can all learn from your misfortune. Hope you enjoy many great days in the field with your new Browning. Keith
