Agency heads should come up through the ranks and acquire their positions via a review by their peers. Having political appointments in charge and dictating policy is a serious mistake.

When broken down by political party affiliation, 68.3% of Republicans and almost half of people reporting no party affiliation said the DOJ and FBI are "too political, corrupt, and not to be trusted." So 1/3 of Republicans “Trust” the FBI and the DOJ, and to think we are going to vote our way out of this.
