We can't all be like Flave. That’s apparent. But what you can do is stop lying about things you’ve no experience with. Not sure why dipschits like yourself have to be reminded of this so often.

I can only call that comment bizarre. I've expressed my opinion.

I am old school or maybe just old, but I just don't see the reason to buy a small carry gun and then screw a sight on top to make it larger. My eyes are not great any longer, but I can still make shots out to fifty yards and keep everything center mass. Up close, say within ten yards, I am looking at the target and just referencing my sights. I do not need to hit a quarter at this distance just a six inch circle and do it fast and I don't need a red dot sight to do that. But I must be wrong judging from all the gun mags. Anyway, the Hellcat looks like a good solid pistola. Agree on all. Same. Which optic do you three run and on which pistol? Let’s try this again for the three bull schit artists.

I also bought a Hellcat Pro last month. Went with it after owning Shields for the last 8 years. The gun is perfection. No red dot for me. Now waiting on the free magazines and range bag.

You are free to disagree with some or all of them, and then present your reasons why. 2-cents: I don't like optics on defensive pistols either, but as my circumstances evolve in all likelihood I'll either go with an optic or have to accept I chose a less effective solution. Accuracy is everything. The idea that 'center mass at 50 yards' and 'six inch circles' is good enough is wrong. First off, banking on the bad guy standing motionless out in the open presenting a center mass shot isn't realistic. I'm currently faster and just as accurate with irons close in, but even in my inexperience I'm much faster and more accurate with an optic when the target is small, distant, or moving. The world seems headed toward the scenario of a small piece of a target that's using cover, perhaps dozens of yards away - a mall or grocery store shooter for example. You might remember I was a 1911 guy for years. I still am, but I had to make the concession that the world dictated I needed more than 8 or 9 rounds. It looks like the world is going to also dictate in the need for a precise and possibly distant shot. The most effective concession for that scenario is an optic.
Forgive me my nonsense, as I also forgive the nonsense of those that think they talk sense. Robert Frost

I changed batteries in my optics last night, 5 2032's and 2 1650's. It's too late to turn back now.

I don't need any optics or a flashlight on a Concealed Carry Handgun...
I shoot by sound, and if don't hear anything - I shoot until I do! At typical self defense ranges, whether your groups are three inches or one inch isn't going to matter, and who needs electronics on a handgun, absent some gigantic advantage they might provide, which they don't. Just the latest gimmick. ^^^Dumb fugk^^^

LOL I was 30 when I bought a Gen 2 Glock 19, so I must have started considering the category when I was negative 10, LOL.

Why would I involve myself in something about which I'm of the opinion that it's not needed (and poses problems)? You're not making sense. Should I invest in all sorts of things about which I'm of a similar opinion?

Should I invest in all sorts of things about which I'm of a similar opinion? So which optic and handgun proved to be a “gimmick?” You seem to not like that question. LOL
