When I was a kid our hunting property had a gravel pit ringed with raspberry bushes. Wild I'd think. Well - we ended up using a ton of that gravel 30 years ago to build a new road into the cabin. Berry bushes are gone.
This year we've also logged/clear cut about 70-80 acres in the back section due to bud worm infestation and just overgrowth. Our property is in serious need of cutting and maintenance in that regard. It's too mature - we need to get some disruption back to get the small mammals and birds back.

Question - can a guy buy and plant wild raspberries? Anything special to worry about? Are there "strains" to look for and order?

How about blueberries? I'd like to put some of those in - out back in the logged area too, if possible.

Odds that they actually take hold, spread and survive?

Talking Michigan's Upper Peninsula banana belt region - I think they'd be okay?
