How are you guys down south doing with all the rain? I know it's flooding and damaging a lot of stuff but is helping your drought condition when all is said and done. Sure could use some of it here in Northern California. The good part of California.

3/4" 4-5 times a week here in north florida...
When people face the possibility of freezing or starving there is little chance they are going to listen to unfounded claims of climate doomsday from a bunch of ultra-rich yacht sailing private jet-setting carbon-spewing hypocrite elites

My garden is now hydroponic HAHA, mine too! I want to plant fall greens, brocolli, cabbage, etc around labor day but unless it does not rain another single drop between now and then the only thing I could plant would be rice.

Everything is soaked to the bone. My house is on top of a hill so no worry about flooding, but you pretty much can't do anything outside.

Haven’t checked but I’m betting another 1 1/2” last night. It came down really hard but not for long. It’s about 3/4” a day just about every day. It’s really just the usual for North Florida. I’m on sand so it’s rare for me to have standing water.

The sun’s out for a while today here so it feels like you’ve walked into a sauna when you step outside.
My brother works at a car dealership in Brandon and their lot is right across Hwy 80 from one of the flooded shopping centers that the Weather Channel was showing yesterday afternoon. The dealership lot was like a lake and they had to scramble to get the cars to high ground. Luckily the building was slightly elevated so no harm done.

It's rained 20 days in the last 3 weeks. 2 weeks ago we had one day with no rain, but then had a stretch where it rained close to an inch every morning to get things going. Yesterday was the worst with around 8 inches and it's been raining for a couple hours now.

Time for the rain to end. We will have 16-18" for the month of August.
The problem is the chance of rain is forecasted at 60% each day for the next two weeks.

Only rained twice here this month. The 1st through the 15th, and the 16th through the 25th.
