Just began the acquisition of one of these, the S version that eats everything from 1 3/4”-3” shells, with a ghost-ring and m-loc forend.

No thing of beauty, but has passed military trials. There are some incidents of light primer strikes reported, from all models in the 500-590-591 line. Any experience with that, and did you resolve it?

Thanks.

I have an old 590, that has been indestructible through the years.

That’s what I’m hoping for!

This should make a good turkey gun in addition to its “duty” duty.

13 min-shells, birdshot, buckshot, or slugs, oughta get ‘er done!

I prefer my 870s or model 12s in pumps only because of what I'm used to. 590s are pretty much indestructible though. Couple friends have them with no issues

I generally prefer M37s, but obviously one with side ejection is a better tactical choice, just watch some competitions.

I’m rail shopping now. Gonna invest in a couple of tubes, turkey and also an IC to tweak shot patterns.
