I have a dozen or so and just bought 2 more.... A lot of variation in the color and character of the wood. All of it very nice.

I have own 3 Cooper rifles and one of them was an Excalibur in 25-06 that I had them put a stainless fluted barrel on it, this was before they offered stainless barrels as standard. Well my grandson became real found of it and being the greatest grandfather of all time he now has it. That rifle and the Excalibur I had in 30-06 would shoot most any load in easily in less than an inch for 3 shots and with loads they really liked 5 shots in 3/4" were doable.
