Taiwan fired warning shots at a Chinese drone that was in the vicinity of a Taiwan controlled islet in the strait close to the China coast. The drone immediately exited the area and returned to Chinese air space.
Taiwan’s leader stated clearly that any further provocations from the mainland would be met with more extreme measures.
