European history is pretty sordid. Of course they have a lot more of it than we do but just about everything horrific here can be attributed to being imported from Europe. Mostly Germany. It took many years but the Frankfurt School of Socialism is well on its way to being mainstream lunacy here. The democrats and republicans just fight over who will be in charge of the Gulags.

Well, regardless of how cold it gets I’ll still be feeding our meagre cattle. Cool, but if you are one of the few, with heat and food on the hoof, be prepared to defend what’s yours. Friends, family, neighbors, strangers and strangers from far away will be rustling you beef, stealing your wood and trying to kill you. Be prepared to stack the dead up like cordwood, you will not be allowed to just quietly live off the grid. Oh, and don’t be surprised if Local LE confisticate your schit .

Btw, forgot to mention a little over half the cows on our place belong to them anyway. When it gets like this we trade off lots of stuff. See we are tight in These hills. Hell I even got two big piles of live oak and mesquite stacked up for the neighbors to come over and help themselves to! See, We have more wood than we will ever use and they are good folks. Did I mention we are all pretty tight in the hills.

They get an audible memory refresher every few days... so they won't try. The sheriff knows better, and would send help if I needed it.  The only people who would try are those Darwin to be candidates who let fear and common sense lapse.
