My ex wife has it now, but it works great. I think as someone above noted, it depends a lot on the model KA mixer it is attached to. She has the big one with the lift up head, not just tilt back.

I have a #32 hand grinder. I’m 74 and after cutting and trimming meat. I can grind one deer in about 15 minutes taking my time. Not complicated at all. Years back that’s all that was used. Internet Says you have to have a big electric grinder Yes there great and serve there purpose But I’ll stick with my old time grinder

Have one, but went with a $50 half-price sale Weston when I got tired of babying it. The little Weston works fine and I don’t have to drag out that monster mixer to make a hamburger.
What fresh Hell is this?

Big Jim said it works well if you do not have a lot of meat to grind.

I bought the tomato juicer attachment and it is actually an add on to the grinder. Naturally I had to buy the grinder. It struggled a bit with tomatoes, so I would say it is a toy. I doubt I’ll ever run meat though the grinder. Tomato juicer was OK, but we only do a couple batches of 12 quarts, and that includes chopped tomatoes and peppers etc directly in the pot, no grind. If I had to do it over I would get a different juicer. All told the attachments were 150 bucks.

Borrowed a friend’s grinder attachment to grind ~16 lbs of pork shoulder to make sausage. Worked great for that, but isn’t fast. 300 watt kitchen aid, FWIW.
