I was looking back at some photos from when I live in MN and we pretty much lived off the land and canned everything we could. My wife showed me how to scan photos.

One of the best cooking stoves I've ever used. I was running traplines and my wife would have a job. Wednesday I stayed home and baked bread and deserts for the week and a big meal. Myy wife would pick up all the local bachelors for a big meal. Here''s fall canning.

Caught that. Dishwasher that small always faster to do them by hand.

That pan under the stove is the dogs water dish, it was the only place we didn't step on it.s it was a 18" dishwasher "Happy wife is a happy life" even in the boonies some creature comforts are appreciated. I demo'd a house that had a 5 ft square sunken tub in it and built the houses bathroom around it.

That stove looked in good shape, would love to find one like that today.

I'm eventually going to build an outdoor kitchen centered around a stove like this. I would love it inside, but we already have a wood stove for heat and my wife would murder me if I removed the gas stove to add a wood cook stove.

That speedgoat soup I posted in the supper/dinner thread was made on a wood cookstove.

I learned how to cook using one of those wood stoves. Times were indeed simpler then, but they darn sure were not easier. lol

Love them, but don't ever want to shift another one !!

Had to pull 1 out of a fly-in camp & load it on the otter.

3 guys was nowhere near enough !!!

Nice. We will cook on ours up north when we are there in cool weather.
