Dogs don't get the human variety of scabies. The dog variety is what's called zoonotic, i.e., dogs can spread it to humans.

I’m reminded of the “do you trust your doctor” thread. Your doc do a skin scraping? Human scabies is caused by an infestation of the skin by the human itch mite (Sarcoptes scabiei var. hominis). The microscopic scabies mite burrows into the upper layer of the skin where it lives and lays its eggs. The most common symptoms of scabies are intense itching and a pimple-like skin rash. The scabies mite usually is spread by direct, prolonged, skin-to-skin contact with a person who has scabies.Scabies occurs worldwide and affects people of all races and social classes. Scabies can spread rapidly under crowded conditions where close body contact is frequent. Institutions such as nursing homes, extended-care facilities, and prisons are often sites of scabies outbreaks. https://www.cdc.gov/parasites/scabies/index.htmlAre you suggesting TRH banned the Towel Girl? Atta Boy!!

So.... the Insurance Company conspires to protect Big Pharma's emergency authorization poison by banning a cheap effective treatment readily available and proven safe? Really?

Dogs don't get the human variety of scabies. The dog variety is what's called zoonotic, i.e., dogs can spread it to humans. The CDC doesn't agree with that. Did I get scabies from my pet? No. Animals do not spread human scabies. Pets can become infested with a different kind of scabies mite that does not survive or reproduce on humans but causes “mange” in animals. If an animal with “mange” has close contact with a person, the animal mite can get under the person’s skin and cause temporary itching and skin irritation. However, the animal mite cannot reproduce on a person and will die on its own in a couple of days. Although the person does not need to be treated, the animal should be treated because its mites can continue to burrow into the person’s skin and cause symptoms until the animal has been treated successfully.https://www.cdc.gov/parasites/scabies/gen_info/faqs.htmlThat's one of the reasons scabies spreads so easily. People don't understand how or where they made contact and the source doesn't get treated.

How many lies has the CDC told over the years?

A small 50ml bottle was under $20. At .5ml doses for the dogs, that’s a 100 doses. Less than 20 cents per.
Throw in a few bucks for a handful of syringes and a few needles.
Human dose for a 200 pound fella would be 2ml at the same rate. Still under a buck.

Not the part where you went to a dog beauty salon? LOL, good one!

Per tablet, kinda pricey for 30 If I understand TRH’s post above, the pharmacy initially quoted him $30/per dose. Assuming a “dose” is one tablet.

I was in Panama for two weeks in July, about day five I got very ill, lasted five days with no signs of improvement. The five other members of our party were all fine, we all ate, traveled and stayed in the same private home. Day six I took an anti-parasitic drug from the local pharmacy, was improved in 12 hours, almost 100% in 24 hours. I keep Ivermectin at home for my goats, they get it once a month but never tried it myself.

Dayuuuum Hawk.
They drill through your skin right? Make little holes? Caribou up in the Yukon are covered with them.
Glad you're okay and your wiggles and bits didn't fall-off or anything.
Couldn't you have just bought a $10 tube of apple horse paste?
Who's your insurance company btw?
