I wear boots. I got 4 pairs. Everyday boots for everyday wear. Work boots for work. A pair of hunting boots for temperatures above 30*. A pair of hunting boots for temperatures below 30*. I have a pair of dress shoes that I wear with a suit, but unless somebody’s getting married or buried, I don’t wear a suit! 7mm

The "dress" shoes described aren't for me. Most of those guys won't bother wearing socks too. Might as well make them open toe so they can show off their painted nails.

Working: Mucks when it’s muddy or wet, Meindl hunters in the winter, hikers when it’s spring/fall, Meindl Ontario gtx shoes in the summer.
Not Working: sandals. Olukai’s, sperry, reef, bunch of others. I’m a flip flop slut.

Red Wings with white soles are ok in my book - Been wearing Red Wings of some kind for years. I didn’t know that white soles had become stylish. For a long time I was a finish carpenter and enjoyed the non-marking soles for practical reasons
