FWIW I started reloading in 1983ish at the age of 14. Winchester Small Rifle Primers were $1.10 per hundred. I found an old package recently. No other consumer product I am aware of has increased 9 to 17 times in price over that same time period.
If you can't be a good example, may you at least serve as a dreadful warning

Crazy, last time I bought primers they $20 PER 1000 Bought CCI 6 years ago for 26.90 a thousand. 🙄

I was buying CCI and W-W for 26.95/1000 and S&B was as low as $99.95/5000 in 2018.
