Probably not much, it is in lousy condition and there is not much call for single barrel shotguns.

Put that on Gunbroker it will do $1k + . 28 gauge 37s just like the model 12 pumps are the hardest to find. Being a red letter gun is just a bonus.

I understand you felt the need to comment but clearly, your knowledge of this model and its collectable status is close to zero. Single barrel 28 gauge shotguns bring an inordinately high amount of interest (and associated $$) if shown in the right venue. I don’t hunt upland birds as much as I used to but the gun I carry nowadays is an H&R Model 1905 in .28 gauge (choked modified) is a light as a feather and hits what it’s pointed at. I agree that 37 would fetch significant $$ if offered on the internet. PennDog

One in pretty similar condition went over 1200 at a local auction last year.

For that kind of money I'd find me one of those double barreled single shots.

I am always looking for factory wood stocks!

Have a winchester 37 red letter in 12 with 32" barrel Dont know why they are so valuable. Got mine cheap $100 about 10 years ago. But for some reason they go extremely high especially the smaller gauges. Last gun show I went to had a plain 37 16 ga for $500 in not much better shape then the one pictured.

I know the whereabouts of a 37 in .410, 30 in. full choke , red letter gun. It's in better shape than that pictured by the OP. However the red letters are very faded, almost gone. Guy wants $500 negotiable. Wonder if it might be worth a flip if I could talk the guy down. Is the .410 anywhere near as valuable as the 28ga.?

The value of the 28 gauge is all about rarity. No, the 410 doesn’t even come close to the 28. It a collector thing, period!
