OK folks -- I need help. I have always been a fan of the TC Hawken rifles. I have never hunted with one and was thinking maybe it's about time. I found this one and upon close examination realized it has a laminated stock. I had never seen one with such a stock. It looks pretty cool, so I struck a deal to purchase it. Intrigued by the laminated stock, I did a little research and found these are quite rare. In fact, the info I found says only eight (8) were made back in the 1980s. The barrel has a serial number, which is non-typical for these rifles. I pulled the barrel and found a partial serial number in the barrel channel of the stock. I have not pulled any brass furniture to see if those parts are also serialized. Sounds like I stumbled onto a very unique Hawken.
Anyway, I am wondering if anyone here has TC expertise and could help me out with more information. I have the website for the TC Collectors but have not yet reached out to any members. I appreciate your help.
