Got my first titanium nitride barrel a couple of weeks ago, and I've been checking the internet for tips on cleaning stubborn carbon deposits. Seen suggestions for vinegar and baking soda (or peroxide).

What's the preferred method of the group around here?

Just like any other barrel. I have 3 and use normal methods. They don't get as dirty as a regular one.

Peroxide might not be a good idea. I worked for a company years ago that applied that coating and we used hydrogen peroxide in a hot bath to strip the nitride coating from items that didn't meet spec.

Hell, who am I going to believe, some guy on the internet or a man who actually knows what he's talking about?
