What woul be a good option for a slimmer forend stock that would be a drop in fit for a factory Sendero? Thanks. Rob

Just get a regular Remington 700 stock and sand it out to fit the barrel. This is a factory laminated stock that was a special run Sendero.

The first picture is a 1997 Sendero 7STW.Here is another rifle that has a Sendero contour barrel. It is in a Remington LSS stock with the barrel channel opened up to fit the larger barrel.

I actually have a lss stock laying around not being used that I probably will sell. I also have a HS Precision sporter stock with a magnum barrel channel that could be opened up. I don’t really need a Sendero type gun for any of my hunting in Pennsylvania. The only reason I have the gun is it was my deceased uncles rifle.

Haazrob: I would NOT even consider swapping out ANY of the wide forearm stocks on any of my Senderos - especially for a "slimmer forend stock"!
Best of luck to you if you do.

A Greyboe Terrain can be had with a Sendero channel & has a narrower forearm than the H-S that comes on the Sendero, both the early & late ones.
