I like to remain “nested” in Wyoming! 😉 Far fewer vultures and birds of prey to deal with! 😁 memtb

Mom and pops left a small house in Arizona they used. Toying with the idea of buying out the sister and brother, then spending winters there! I don't do the crowds well. The house is in the Casa Grande area. Anyone play around there?
My wife looked up 'free beach camping in Texas' and found photos like this:
Why do I think it's actually more like this:
That top pic is more than normal, especially on PINS.

In my mid 60's and I still would never miss being here in the winter. I love it. We've been to FL a few times. Longest stretch was 10 days. That was more than enough. Just not my type of geography or weather. Have friends (Trump supporters) that go down every winter. They like it.
We don’t snowbird , but about 15 years ago helped snowbirding in-laws (having medical issues) move back north from their RV park model in Yuma Az in spring time.
We stayed there about 5 days, helping them pack up, dispose of stuff, and prepare their park model for summer vacancy (barrels of water, window shades, etc)
I was impressed with low cost of RV/park model lot rental/lease, cleanliness of park (park rules enforced with fangs bared), the really nice swimming pools, jacuzzis, showers, club house, etc. And this for a mid-range RV park.
Upscale parks (with golf courses etc) looked really nice when driving past.
We ate out each evening at great “all you can eat buffets “ that were not expensive.

Went there often when I worked at Desert Garden Rv Park in Florence.
There ought to be an open season- - - - -no limit on a lot of 'em. Arrogant, rude damyankees who thing they're doing us poor ignorant rednecks a favor by visiting for a few months! At least they go home for a few months, until they get too old and feeble to travel, or the old man croaks and blue haired granny drives 20 MPH in the fast lane of the interstate, peeking through the steering wheel of her 30 year old Cadillac Fleetwood!
