LGS I frequent here the owner told me he’s changed CC processors 3 times in two years. Not the CC company itself, but still a huge pia of the same ilk.

I've had a 50/50 opinion that buying private has advantages.
Then I though fugg that, go to the gun shop & get what you want. They can't/won't go through all those files.
Now... it's looking like the under the table guns might have an edge, & maybe the less paper trail the better.... for all transactions.

Start using cash for most purchases. It screws up their tracking for starters, and it amplifies your justification for self defense. And don't be overly surprised when there are unexpected 'discounts' offered. RB

Some of you are a little slow on the uptake, but I'm glad you're getting there...

When i built my new house about 5 years ago i told my subs I'd pay cash the day the work was done if they wanted. Some of them really liked that option and others didn't care either way. My excavator, foundation guy, framers and roofers really liked it. I went from no hole on the ground to being framed up with the roof on in about 5 weeks.
Construction loans were such a pita for owner builders I had to use my savings to build but the bank knew what I was doing when I went to get cash. Although US Bank sat on a $275,000 cashiers check to me from the sale of my old home from the title company across the street and things got tight for a bit.
Even when the manager of the title company personally went to the bank to tell the the check cleared weeks ago they still held in on a security hold. The company I worked for ran $600 million a year through us bank. I finally told the regional manager to look at the business line I was one of a handful of signatories for and that I was going to talk to the owner about changing banks. My money was free in minutes along with a personal apologie from some big guy at corporate.
Banks get really weird about anyone withdrawing cash too. I always knew they'd turn you in for largish cash deposits but they don't want you spending your money either. They said I should be writing checks for everything but I got receipts and it's not my responsibility to track what they do with the money they earn. A few guys took guns on trade too. I like to trade and barter when possible.

Guns, yes.
Ammo, that's a bit more difficult.

"The new code will allow us to fully comply with our duty to report suspicious activity and illegal gun sales to authorities without blocking or impeding legal gun sales."
So how the hell will they know if a gun sale is legal or not? More Democrat lies, it's all bull schit.

Lol , way late in the game if you are person if interest. Looking into your financial records , phone messages , and social media can tell them pretty close to what you own and were you stand physically , politically , and morally. Morally being a vague word , depending on who’s calling the shots. Most of us are deplorable you know . Most of us have done a good bit of buying and talking on the net and txt messages . There you go . I knew I was screwing up when I started the plastic thing , the texting , the internet , and 4473’s So this is no surprise But I figured fugk it , life will be whatever it’s going to be . Kenneth

I use cash, credit or Paypal without issue. I buy very little on-line (Gunbroker and the like) but some here. Over the past few years my buys have been at my LGS, Texas or Idaho, via consignments.

If you purchase a Firearm from an FFL they already know everything they want to know paying cash will not stop that.
Private party exchanges in Commyfornia to be a Legal Transfer you still need to go threw an FFL so you are screwed in this State They know everything they need to know.
