Also, remember the title of this thread, the purpose of which is to goad "Putinistas." Some partisanship is to be expected on both sides. The implication being that anyone who has a difference of opinion than the author of the thread is a fan of Putin. In other words, it's a dishonest attempt to label someone as something they're not because of their opinion. It's a favorite tactic of leftists. Learn to recognize it. You are again wrong. To de leverage is going to be painful. It’s that simple but the payoff in the future bodes well for Europe as they can still take Russian gas after some normalcy prevails and it will over time. Europe is about to find out there is no substitute for Russian fossil fuels.

When it comes to rule of law consider that Russian military members are not required to be sent into conflict if no war has been declared. Ain’t like that here but our forces are voluntary.
