At my local gun club meeting this evening a shooting pal who works the local rail line advised me to prep for a strike of the national rail lines. Fuel food and whatever else could be sidelined for days or weeks. Just saying you might want to top off the heating oil tank etc. Paying thru the nose for essentials is one thing but being unable to obtain them at any price is some thing else. Once the supply chain is interrupted like the power grid we could see bigtime interruptions as they try to restart the flow. Seems I recall reading the food stores have a weeks worth or less. Hungry people get dangerous pretty quick.
