Thanks. She came with one 9 round mag. I managed to find a couple of extra 10 rounders.

Cool old pistol. I'll bet it shoots great. I've had a couple just like it.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I buy about everyone I see that is a decent price, just picked up a '56 standard. I shoot the bull barrels better than the tapered though.

John Boy: I hope the MK-1 shoots as good as it looks. Enjoy and let us know how it shoots.
Killerv: Ditto's here! I have WAY to many Ruger MK type pistols (thirty two of them at last count - including 22/45's!) - like you I have bought most all of them on the used market in the past and only at bargain prices. And like you I shoot the heavy barreled models almost exclusively - most of the ones I shoot have optics and it is amazing how well (accurately) they shoot! Gotta start thinning that herd soon and realizing some profits. Plan is to keep a couple of heavy barrels for myself - give one to each VarmintChild and VarmintGrandChild and sell the rest. Long live the MK Ruger pistols. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
