Three Days of the Condor.

Told me all I needed to know about the CIA.
In hindsight, it was a documentary. A bunch of sleazeball murderers.

If in doubt, kill all seven of them.

Ah yes, Ming the merciless. Dale Arden was hot as was Ming's daughter.

Simon Kenton 7, although Three Days of the Condor was filmed many years ago, it did not go into the CIAs capabilities with modern day computers and high technology they -- and other agencies -- have in use today. If you'd like to read a novel that exhibits the way they have everything about any person anywhere at their keyboard fingertips, get a copy of Body of Lies, by David Ignatius, W.W. Norton and Co., Publs. ©2007. Published in 2007, it is not only a page turner, but is frightening as to how there is no such thing today as "privacy" from the alphabet agencies and their computers.

OK, leanwolf, I just bought the book.
I had a party 11 years ago. My buddy had been a Lt. Commander in the Navy and had been in Naval Intelligence, in fact, he was involved in Hunt For Red October type stuff, he would fly to San Francisco and get on a nuclear sub, and ride around for several months, and then he wouldn't talk about what he had done.

Four or five us were standing around drinking a beer at my party, and this was just after the CIA Intelligence guy had defected to Russia, claiming that the CIA was bugging cell phones in the US, which violates their charter. And I asked Richard about it. And he said, "I will say this once and then, I will say no more. Don't ask me any questions.

If you want to keep it secret, don't write it in an email, and don't say it on a cell phone."

Is that scary or what.

There was a rumor back in the day, after he had played Jesus in "The Greatest Story Ever Told," that he had been cursed for playing the part .... some bad things had happened to him for years afterwards .... like devine revenge type things.

Probably no truth to it, he played the best Jesus of Nazareth ever ... and that was around the time when they were claiming Rock Hudson and Tab Hunter were gay so it was all probably bull$#!+.

What you think about, you do ... what you do, you become.

True story. My mom went to high school with Rock Hudson. New Trier High in Glencoe Illinois. Rock was 2 years ahead of my mom.
She said, "It is funny, he is such a handsome hunk with all the gals like Doris Day chasing after him. But he could hardly get a date in high school, I remember him sitting in the corner of the lunchroom with these two weird-looking little guys."
