Howdy.

Bought a gray rat (almost)post war 99EG .300 with schnable forend last weekend in Tulsa. The forend had taken a real ding at some time and had three longitudinal cracks in it. The butt has a small crack starting right at the corner of the tang as well as as several scratches and dings here and there that come with age and service. I will try to clean up and repair the wood with acraglass, shellac, and pins, but would like to have this rifle completely restocked sometime. Who makes correct wood?AW
