A couple days ago I went to our local rifle range to sight in a EG 300sav. While on a break a guy walks up to me & says that " I have my dad's rifle ", It's just like yours & I'd like to sell it." I followed him to his house & looked at it & I almost ripped my pants getting the money out. It is a pre-mil "F"(1956) that looked like NIB. He had the original hang tag with the sights in it but no box. He said it only had 1 box of shells thru it. Honest, this rifle is beautiful ,I'd give it a honest 99%. Also, it has a Lyman 57SA peep on it. Part of the deal included 8 boxes of WINCHESTER silvertip ammo(boxes are marked $7.15)All for $800.00.
Oh, by the way did I mention that its a 358win!!! 6 of the ammo boxes are 200gr. silver tip in the yellow boxes & 2 of the boxes are of 250gr. silver tip in the yellow & blue boxes.

1899sav, Not at BRISTOL(I don't know about BRISTOL). I was at McMILLERS SPORTS CENTER, a state owned range near EAGLE, Wi. in Walworth county Wisconsin. The guy lived in Milwaukee & I don't even know his name. I'm kind of afraid to go back to the range, he might find out what he did & want it back.
