Bought this 30-06 at gun show a couple months ago as a future project rifle (rebarrel or rebore). Probably an early 70's rifle with a very smooth 1900 action. Thinning the herd and simply don't need more such projects. It has a 23 1/2" barrel with a very good bore and never had sights. Came with a no-name 3-9 scope (included). I took it to the range and fired some on-hand ammo thru it and got under 1 1/2" in 3-shot group. It's been sitting in the gun safe since then. It is in overall good+ condition; some wear on the aluminum trigger guard (pictured) along with some thinning bluing on the barrel mostly near the muzzle and from a gun rack. The gloss finished has flaked off in some places and more use wear on the toe/heel area. 1640 series was sort of a Mauser. 1900 series a push feed with dovetailed lugs that are very smooth.

Would you be interested in a Knight SS 50 caliber 27" fluted BBL Laminated stock shadow black condition 99% I say 99% as it is used but hardly shot.
