Yeah, but I thought we were talking crooked lumber. Maybe one of those two seater porch swings, cup holders cut into the arm rests for the Busch. Oh yeah, and get rid of that cheap ass Zebco reel. You gotta have standards man.

Home Depot back in Worshington was a literal dog show. Half the people in there couldn’t go buy plants or paint with out their damn dog.

And straight lumber is a myth.
It doesn’t exist.

Chit on Lowe's.
They let the outside vendors stock most of the hardware. Never find what you want and the "help" ain't worth chit.
Amazon can deliver the same cheap china chit for less.
The builders discount warehouse has the same warped up crap for less money, drive in and they will help load or at least make sure you don't destroy the stack looking for that one straight board.
Most of the builders I know use a local yard, might cost a little more but the service blows the others away.

Real lumber yards are typically cheaper and they actually know what they’re doing .

Love them. I’m a regular at a few around here. The biggest problem is the lack of hardwood lumber. That and most of them are selling storage buildings faster than they can build them. They make more money selling buildings than lumber.

I remember old fashioned lumber yards in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. I remember being able to buy structural select grade Douglas Fir [better than #1]. They have all closed.
I remember buying lumber from one man saw mills, electric and gas engine powered. Those guys are all dead.
Now I am getting lumber from Home Depot. Brought home on the roof of my wife's Honda CRV.
I get exotic wood off eBay, like African Blackwood.
Buying wood has changed.

They make more money selling buildings than lumber. Maybe should think about selling the giant mahogany out front. Lol

HD and Lowes are for women, phags and messicans. Yes I've been spotted there a time or four. The go to Hardware store don't have no interboobsite nor wifi, still uses rotory dial, receipts in 8.5x11 carbon copy and the last time a splittail was observed in it's environs was 20 aught 2 (which still hasn't been confirmed as suspected female was Portagee dairy farmer) If your hardware store can't cut you steel plate to size or stock every sprocket known to man kind is it really a HARDware store?

That outboard piece of plate on the track torch is going to warp. The piece under the aluminum track will be straight. Hope the piece the customer bought is under the track.
