Bullseye pistol I started with some years ago. Have had a lot of fun with this one! It’s in good condition. Shot it last Saturday. First time out of the safe in awhile. Condition is used. Early “A” prefix serial number for the -2 models. Tooling, fitting was excellent with these plus, extractor was changed to a more readily available one (the original and -1’s extractor is tough to find). Blueing thinning around the grips and a spot on the right side of the receiver. No box or accessories, just 2 mags. One of the two mags has been modified to hold 6 rounds. It functions great. Shoots only flush seated W/C’s. My favorite load was 2.8g Bullseye. Ransom Rest showed this to be optimal and I stuck with that charge. Used Zero 148’s mostly. Used it for 6 target “steel challenge” at a local club. Thought I had additional magazine(s) but can’t find them after our move. Man that is nice! Those were hard to find in the 70's. Only wish I had a use for it now. Rare S&W for sure. Good luck with your sale.

Very nice, I'm down to 2 from 3 from an estate, the third one went to my FFL (my old shop teacher), he had never handled one before.
I still have a NOS complete upper as well as springs and a few other items.
As stated above, not a common find. GLWS.

Any interest at $1100 shipped? Really cool old S&W. Narrowed DOM down to late 1970’s. Probably 1978.

I realize other boards might have more specific interest in this pistol. I am a member of a few. Mostly hang out here though so posted here first.
