i had a doctor appointment and one of the question i asked was when will i die. we sat down together and used a calculator to predict my demise. according to https://depts.washington.edu/shfm/app.php?width=1536&height=864in 5 years my probability of dying goes to 85% (which means 100%) , how about you and what am i supposed to do? I bet you more than double the 5 year projection!

I did one of those calculations at a retirement seminar, about 12 years ago. I was supposed to die 6 years ago.

When God wants me off this earth I will Die Until then I work and plan for my future. And I have no idea when God will take me back home. This exactly. Might be today, might be 50 years. Gotta plan for tomorrow either way.

Dad just drove off (yep I said drove off) and he'll be 96 next month. Dad said years ago, he planned to go fishing on his 100th birthday. His brother, 6 yrs younger, said he'd dig the bait. Looks like both are gonna make it.

Tell him you can't pay off the bill - he'll give you another 5 years to live and work it off.

Some of us are different. I've been expecting to die in the next five minutes for 45 years. That's a good/bad thing. Appreciation of the moment is the pro. Preparation for 10 minutes from now...when I'm still here, is the con. As miserable as you are you will probably live to 150.

I’m already on narrowed time! Three weeks before my 18th birthday my father died. Less than a month later I was rushed to the ER due to a bad allergic reaction to red dye. Doc went through my family history and told me I’d be dead by 40. Well, I’m a few years beyond that and try to work out and eat somewhat right, though I do like to eat. Heart disease is an issue on my mom’s side and my dad’s side was all cancer. My dad died at 60, his sisters lived to be in their 80’s with one to 96. My mom has outlived everyone in her family, but they all made it well past 60 including the chainsmoker that died in her 70’s. How the hell that doc got 40, I have no clue.

When God wants me off this earth I will Die Until then I work and plan for my future. And I have no idea when God will take me back home. ^^^^This^^^^ Though about planting some pecan trees from the nut. Then I thought, "I'm 72 years old! What good are th4y going to do me?" Then I thought, "Who cares? I just want to start some pecan trees!" Old man in his early 90's was sitting in the coffee shop. 9ne of his friends comes in, "Bill, I ain't seen you around. What's been going on?" "You know I married that 25 year old girl.", Bill replies. "How's that working out for you, sexually?" "Well, in the morning, my son comes by the house on his way to work and helps me get on. In the afternoon, him and three or four of his buddies come by and help me get off." "Bill, why does it only take one to get you on, but 4 or 5 to get you off?" Bill says, "Oh, I fight 'em!" Two old geezers bumped into each other in town. "Joe! I ain't seen ya in a while! Where you been?" "Oh, I been in jail Fred.", Joe said. "In jail? What in the world were you in jail for?" Fred asked. "You remember that widow I was messing around with Fred?, Well, she charged me with rape." Joe mused. "Joe! At yore age! They put YOU in jail for rape?" Fred asked. "Nope," Joe said, "They put me in jail for perjury, I pled guilty!"

Trust Jesus Christ to save your soul from Hell. I made that decisioin 40 years ago and have never looked back. No worries about the future --eternity in heaven with the one who shed his blood to save me.
AMEN!
