Wear pocket tees everyday. Perfect place for a pack of smokes and a lighter. Or some doobage long ago in a galaxy far away. Not so much for roofing screws through...
My GT was 121.. My QT was 78... Recruiter told me I qualified for every job in the army back in 83. 220 plus. Nope I want to join the Infantry... The main hub of the wheel of the army. Tanker was my 2nd choice.
They even had a nuke reactor course at Ft Belvoir back in the day in the army.
Was counseled several times to drop a west point prep school packet by chain of commands from CPT,s to LTC,s. Nope.... I like what I do in the enlisted ranks and I know my schit and belong with the boots on the ground types doing the end state job. How to kill mofo,s with what you got and your mind and experience. And to pass your knowledge and experience on to young wolves coming up How I was raised up by my 1st Sqd Ldr SSG Earl Dunn Black dude from NYC that had a break in service and 2 tours with the 173rd in Vietnam.
If I didnt wear pocket t shirts, blue Jean's, and work boots my entire life... And been so dumbed down because of that...
I probably could have invented a toaster sized cold fusion unit that ran off of Tap water to power up homes long ago.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

A tee shirt without a pocket is a rag.
Life is good live it while you can.

Some of the Aqua Velva wearing, ‘old guard’ campfire members were saying disparaging things toward folk that wear pocket tees.

Same here....smokes, lighter and a pen in the pocket of a hi-vis green/yellow ANSI class 2 or 3 shirt.

Daily wear from May through September and won't have a t-shirt without one, otherwise there's no place to carry my eyeglasses.
Never knew there were any negative connotations involved, although a friend of mine from long ago used to refer to a certain underclass of individuals as "pocket t-shirt types".
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

For the dullard group:
Do you carry a tire gauge in that top pocket? No but by God I have a pocket for it if I need to.

Pocket is a must, gotta put my reading specs somewhere. Agree with NVhntr, can never have to many pockets. Slum has one of them Michael Jackson bright red jackets with the zipper pockets everywhere, least that's what I heard

Rural king has some good pocket tees made by Lincoln outfitters, but they're $15 a piece.

Usually wear Henley T with a pocket. Dickey's or Carhart. In the shop everything gets oil on it and they're easier to clean. I expect I'm not very highbrow.

Ain't been in one ever myself.... My wife just suggested that we stop at a Walmart and buy pants on the way to the wedding. I just about kicked her in the head.
