Looking for a fixed 1X rifle scope for an in-line. I hope to obtain an ADA accommodation permit for 2023 CO elk season. I've had two retinal detachments and my visual acuity with the required open or peep sights drops off at about 30 yards. Anyone know where I might find one? They seem to be very scarce. Thanks and be well.

I do have one not to recommend. The 1x Weaver Kapsas are still floating around here and there, but they're junk. I bought 2 of them on clearance a few years ago and they both broke quickly.
One caveat about 1x scopes... with a lot of them, things will actually appear farther away than with just the naked eye.

I have this one. Seems to be very close to true 1X. As long as you don’t plan on shooting past 150-200 yards, then dot should work fine.
Not sure if Colorado Would allow an “illuminated” dot or not. As long as it is not projecting a dot, May not be an issue.

eBay is probably the place to look. Or Gunbroker. I know Pentax made them and I think Simmons.
Good luck in your search Dave!

I have a T/C model just sitting here. unfortunately it has some bedding compound in the bottom and ring marks. You could have it for $40 and I would send it to you first so you can see if you are comfortable with it.

Cabelas used to sell one that seemed pretty decent. I think I have one around from when NE allowed no magnification optics for ML season.
