The Ukraine has slain so many Orcs that Putty Boi must draft more from the Russian population.

How will these newly spawned Orcs be trained with all the training cadre already deployed and killed in Ukraine?

With what will new Orcs be equipped? T34s? laugh

What new and interesting Orc killing weapons will Ukraine use to defend their homeland?

Putin's possible responses:

I think the first one mentioned is the most likely.

https://nationalinterest.org/feature/west-won’t-russia’s-next-move-ukraine-204873

Option 1: Moscow could launch a counter-counteroffensive—one focused on the Black Sea port of Odessa. That city is Ukraine’s last outlet on the Black Sea, and its seizure would effectively make Ukraine a landlocked country. It would also give Russia a stranglehold on Ukraine’s principal economic lifeline, since the majority of Kyiv’s exports and imports flow through Odessa. The loss of that city would be a colossal economic and psychological blow to Ukraine. Given that Russia redeployed sizable numbers of troops and quantities of weapons from eastern Ukraine to the south even before Kyiv’s eastern offensive, there is a high probability that Odessa is now Moscow’s principal target. Already overextended Ukrainian forces in the south would be very hard-pressed to repel a concerted Russian attack.

No reason to worry, I suppose. Whatever is going to happen will happen. But I think Russia's response will determine how involved NATO will become. And I think Russia's response will be much more significant than anything seen so far.

I think at minimum we can all agree on a couple things? First that this wouldn't be happening if things were going well for Russia in the war. Second that this escalation and talk of nuclear weapons is far from ideal. Blame whomever you wish, but there's nothing good about this.

Putin's bluff won't work

Russian president Vladimir Putin’s moves to significantly escalate the war in Ukraine with a thinly veiled reference to his willingness to use nuclear weapons came with a theatrical flourish.

“When the territorial integrity of our country is threatened, to protect Russia and our people, we will certainly use all the means at our disposal,” he said. “It’s not a bluff.”

Yet that is exactly what western officials made of the bombast.

Putin’s announcements on Wednesday to threaten a nuclear strike, mobilise hundreds of thousands of reservists and rapidly annex parts of Ukraine were a desperate attempt to test the strength of western support for Kyiv, said officials and analysts.

But the nervousness of western capitals about the possible use of weapons of mass destruction by the world’s second-biggest nuclear power, as well as the threats of a drawn-out war and a prolonged period of higher energy and food prices, is outweighed by their resolve to call Putin’s bluff, they added.

“This is probably the most delicate phase of this decades-long game of chicken,” said a senior European diplomat. “He is actively trying to sow discord. His hope is to drag it out until winter and use the social discontent to actually widen the very real rifts — both intra-EU and transatlantic — that for now stay below the surface.”

Western officials who questioned the seriousness of Putin’s nuclear warning referenced a similar threat he made in the opening days of the invasion if the west were to “hinder” Russia.

That order for missiles to be put on “special alert” resulted in no change to the readiness of the country’s nuclear forces, according to western intelligence officials, even as vast amounts of western weapons were shipped to Kyiv. US satellites monitor Russia’s nuclear forces for signs of activity.

So, a partial mobilization of reserves is different than when we sent National Guard and reserve units on multiple year long deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan how? A Russian stop loss on expiring enlistments is different than when we did it how? Recalling reservists with needed skills into active duty is different than when we did it how?

Just wanted to understand how these things were evidence of our military strength and preparedness but are signs of Russia’s impending collapse.
