I’ve used them for 30 plus years, several heights. Never had a notch one. Really like them. Be sure to get swivel model.

I like the 9-13" swivel/notched. Have a couple of those.

Also a 11-23" swivel, no notches. It works fine too, but I do like the convenience of the notches on the 9-13's.

No notch. Swivel not necessary, although faster to operate, it adds bulk and weight.

notches, I actually had a machinist put notches in the long one. I didn't know the short one came w/o notches.
