Hello. I recently inherited my grandfather’s Remington Sportsman complete with a Polychoke Deluxe that he hunted with for years. The question I have is where is the proper adjustment setting range? Do you crank it down then back off from there? It makes seven full rotations so where in there do you keep it? Thanks.

Tighten it all the way, then set to desired setting.

Do not open it any further than one full rotation.
