Got the 34 together enough that it's drivable. Drove to town yesterday but had to skip some places due to impending rain storm. It doesn't have the removable sunroof and windshield wiper yet. side view rear quarter front got a few hundred more things to do but at least it's drivable.

It's a 49 Mercury flathead, high compression heads and pistons, 2 stormberg 97's, 3/4 cam, headers, T5 tranny, 9" Ford rear end, new 12" Speedway brakes.

David, when you get the Ardun heads and McCulloch super charger on it I will be there with a suit case full $100 bills.
I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.

The body was in excellent shape when I got it. Only a few minor rust outs and dents. Way too nice to shoot up or turn into an off road vehicle. Bonnie and Clyde had the same vehicle except it was a four door. The engine is 239 cubic inches. It's my last project car. I get tired too easily and won't tackle another one. My wife can sell it after I die. Hopefully a long time from now. But then, she says it's her car so maybe she'll keep it.

Cummins 4BT and a 6 speed sitting on a modified Dodge chassis.... You've even got the donor truck sitting in the background David! LOL
Seriously though, that hotrod is about as cool as it gets. Congrats on a great find.

Thanks Roy. That 01 Dodge 3500 is in excellent shape, only has about 120,000 miles and is my plow truck. Couldn't mess with it. The 05 Dodge Cummins, 6 speed is getting really dilapidated on the other hand. We call it the battered Ram. I would love to build a 30's Ford big truck into a Dodge Cummins diesel powered tow truck. Then I could haul one car on the back and another in a trailer and get two cars to a car show at once. I could enter the truck too. But I'm worn out. Can't build anything else.

With the warmed flathead, suicide doors, and wire wheels that is Uber Cool. 😎 once the roof is fixed I would be driving it all over the place.

sun roof and heater are pretty high on the list of things to do. It still had the original heater and the motor runs. I put two 6 volt batteries behind the rear seat wired in series for 12 volts for the rest of the car and wired the heater motor so it's only getting 6 V. Still need to install hoses. The project just goes on and on.
