Have an old Smith in .32 long. 3” barrel and flat latch. Butt is stamped # 6340xx. Crane is marked twice....83725.What is this gun?
it is pinned/no shroud and 6 shot.

If it is a round butt, it is a Pre-model 30. If it is a square butt it is a Pre-model 31. Also known as "Hand Ejector Post WWII".

It is a round butt. Gun is very good for the age. Bluing is good and wood grips are good. Is $450 + shipping a decent price?
