Hi , where can I find load date for discontinued Win. 780 . Desperate times call for desperate measures , I scored 2 8lb bottles at a steal price and well I would like to use it but cant find any data . Any help would be appreciated .

I have some W780.I compared my velocity between Reloader 22 and the W780 loaded the same in my 7STW.The velocity difference was about 20-30fps slower than the Reloader 22,which is about exactly the same as what I would get with IMR7828.My rifle grouped well with it,in fact I was getting the same point of impact with both powders.

I have a Sierra loading manual from 1971 and some of the load data lists 780BR. If you can be more specific as to your intended use, there may be a load that is useful to you.

164 IMR-4350, IMR 165 H-4350, Hodgdon 166 TU 7000, Vectan 167 N-204, Norma 168 W-780BR, Winchester 169 Brigadier 4351- Scot 170 Reloder 19, Alliant 171 IMR-4831, IMR 172 N-205, Norma 173 WC 852 (slow) WC852 and WC852f are different burn rates. Winchester 780BR and Winchester 780 Supreme are not the same powders.See #130 on the burnrate chart.

I have some, don’t use it as it’s not that clean and I have better powder. But, in a time of shortage it will work.
