I use My Radar on my smart phone.

Use Windy on my computer to throw into the mix of which weather outfit is most wrong.

Windy, if memory serves, is a European model weather guesser. Down in my woods, they aren't that accurate, but then neither are NWS, Weather.com, or the local weather.

Windy offers the following models: ECMWF, GFS, ICON, METEOBLUE, NAM, HRRR

I apologize. "My Radar" is just radar. Like looking down from the sky at the clouds and stuff. It allows me to dodge things that horizonal radar doesn't. It also lets me know exactly when the [bleep] is about to hit the fan.

I'm sure there are plenty other things out there if you want other people's opinions about the weather.

Right. Just look at it yourself.

I use the hell out of My Radar when I'm out on my tractors. Keeps me in the know of what's actually out there that's likely to impact me.

Another good source I use regular is the rainfall accumulation website. It lets me know if there's a muddy mess waiting for me before I go. wink It's surprisingly accurate too.

I've mentioned this before but I was LATE to the smartphone party.

During thunderstorm season when we're out and about the radar on the phone is beyond handy.

I still use NOAA for actual forecasts as they are by far the most accurate for predicting stuff 3-4 days in advance.

And I use wunderground and their wundermap for radar. With the map set on satellite mode I can zoom in and watch storms go over fields. Total farmer nerd chit but I love it.

Gonna have to check out "My Radar".

Slums always talking about schiting his kidneys out every other day. Don’t think anything stays in him long enough.

I added it to my phone. I played with it for a good 30 minutes and game changer. I'm a closet weather nut....

You'll like then Weather Underground App too. You can connect to the weather monitor station closest to where you live. You have to go here and enter the city you live in to find your closest weather monitor station:
